Our story

People. Properties. Possibilities.

Three words on the mark, in that order, on purpose. The property is the middle term — people come first, and what becomes possible comes last.

A family, and a brokerage we own

Our roots in Breckenridge go back to the 1990s. Across two generations we have watched Summit County turn from a locals’ ski town into one of the hardest places in Colorado to buy well — and we have helped a lot of families find their footing here while it happened.

Today we practise at The Real Estate Collective, the brokerage we built ourselves. That matters more than it sounds. It means the marketing standard, the service standard and the way a client is looked after are ours to set, and there is nobody above us to blame when they slip.

What we actually do

Residential real estate across Summit County — primary homes, second homes and investment purchases in Breckenridge, Frisco, Silverthorne, Dillon, Keystone and the towns around them. Buyers and sellers both. That is the whole business, and we would rather be very good at it than broad.

Our brokers bring construction and trade experience, decades of brokerage, title and property management background, and a lot of local history — one of us spent six years as Mayor of Blue River and twenty-six on its town board.

What we hold each other to

  • Tell the client the truth, including when it costs us the deal
  • Return the call the same day, even when the news is bad
  • Never let a contract deadline surprise a client
  • Price on evidence, not on what the seller hopes for
  • Put the fee, and what it buys, in writing before anyone signs

Local, and not in the brochure sense

We do not commute up here for showings. We live in these towns, which is why we can give you a straight answer about snow load, well water, an HOA that is heading for a special assessment, or which street genuinely gets plowed first.

The mountains on the mark

The logo is a range at first light — the gold is the sun hitting the part you climbed. Buying or selling a home here is the largest financial decision most people make, and it should feel like an ascent, not an errand.

How we are different

Three things you will notice

You get one broker

The broker who takes your first call is the one at the closing table. No hand-off to a coordinator once the paperwork starts.

We put numbers in writing

Valuations come with the comparable sales attached. Offers come with a net sheet. You should never have to take a number on faith.

We will tell you not to buy it

The commission on a house you should not buy is the most expensive money in this business. We would rather lose it and keep you.
